Beginning in 2002, the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation has given a donation annually to Family Health Partnership Clinic. In that time, FHPC has received $320,000 which has enabled uninsured McHenry County patients to receive preventative care, education and cancer screenings they may otherwise have gone without. With the supportive partnership of GCCF, the clinic is able to continue to provide these very important services to those less fortunate in our communities. On average, we are seeing 7,500 annual patient visits at the clinic and the increase in the number of uninsured people has resulted in our first satellite clinic opening in McHenry in November 2009.
