WE NEED YOUR HELP.

As the saying goes, “many hands make light work”, and that is truly the case with The Gavers Community Cancer Foundation, and BARNDANCE. We rely heavily on our great team of over 150 volunteers to make BARNDANCE a reality. Our volunteer kickoff meeting is set for April 26th at 7:00pm. at the Stage Left Café on the square in Woodstock. We have one additional meeting for our volunteers, Monday July 11th at 7:00pm., also at Stage Left Café, the week of BARNDANCE. We cannot put on this event without the tremendous support of the community, and are grateful for your continued support of BARNDANCE.

The following volunteer opportunities are available:

• Event & Decoration Set-Up - This includes helping on Friday afternoon and/or Saturday morning with table and decoration set-up.

• Event Sign-In/Wristbands - 2 hour shifts.

• Beer Pouring - 1/2 hour to 2-hour shifts.

• Drink Tickets & Cups - 2 hour shifts.

• 50/50 Raffle - Selling tickets for two hours. 

• Mystery Box Raffle - Decorating boxes prior to July 17 and/or sell boxes. (Maureen)

• Live Auction Program Description - Write description for program (Denise)

• Live Auction Posters - Design posters for live auction week prior Barndance. (Denise)

• Live Auction - Spotters and runners for 1 hr.

• Parking - Helping direct vehicles.

• Clean-Up - Saturday night & Sunday am (Sue)

Volunteers receive a Gavers Barndance t-shirt for wear on the day of the event.

Since every dollar possible is used to support Cancer Awareness and Research, each volunteer is responsible for purchasing their own ticket. Tickets go on sale May 1st, so buy your's early and be prepared!
